Medical superintendent

Dr M. M. Prabhakar completed MBBS in 1979 and M.S.(Orthopedics) in 1983.

He is one of the leading spine surgeons in India. He has vast experience of more than 40 years at various positions. He had worked as Medical Superintendent of Civil Hospital-Ahmedabad (largest government hospital of the country) for 16 years. He was director of the Government Spine Institute for 25 years.

He also worked as a Professor & Head of Orthopaedics department at B J Medical College, Additional Director (Medical Education) to Govt. Of Gujarat, Director of physiotherapy and occupational therapy college, Dean at B J Medical college, President of Gujarat Orthopedics Association(2005) and MCI assessors for various tenures. He is founder Secretary of Gujarat Spine Association. He has published more than 25 research articles in various reputed national and international journals.

Additional Medical Superintendent

Dr Chaitri Tejas Shah has completed her MBBS and MD (Anesthesiology) from Pramukhswami Medical College,Karamsad in 1999 and 2004 respectively.

She had done IDCCM from Bombay hospital in 2006. She has 13 years of experience in the field of anesthesia & critical care. She is an instructor for BLS, ACLS & FCCS courses. She has attended numerous MEU workshops as a faculty, Guided PG students and conducted few ICMR projects too. She had published 5 original articles and 5 case reports in reputed national and international journals. She has joined this institute with the aim to develop state of art facility in the institute, to provide affordable care to all needy patients, to provide good clinical material for the students and to promote clinical research activity.
